phone challenge
21st-Mar-2006 11:38 pm

i persisted with my old cdma network. i loved that system it gave all the benefits of the old analog in usually somewhat unique phones, which looked cool but in reality weren't as ace as i thought. but 2 months ago i moved onto a sony ericsson. dreams come true. bluetooth, video, good fone (did i mention it's on the only 3G network in melbourne?) it's cool. and it's priced to be affordable.

spock couldn't have dream it this cool.

so the challenge came forward, "make a video, edited on your phone. of trains" i give you glowing_fish this:

melbourne public transport, feb/mar 2006, glenwaverley line, sponsored by connex - part 1 by sui_001.

those of you who have the appropriate tech, here is the original 3GP version.

this post was proudly brought to you by The ZoMule Corp.
the 17mb file size of the avi image is no fault of the director.
all trains were later released to the wild successfully.

I clicked on the link and it doesn't play--it just shows the play button etc that usually comes with sound files. I'm on Safari via a Mac btw--does that have something to do with it?

it's a 17 mb file, you could try downloading it, of the 3gp version plays on mac. it isn't that ace anyway ;) cartainly not worth the bother.
